I worked on this blog header a few months ago and have been meaning to share it with you! This adorable design is for the blog, Adventure Baby, by the very talented Christine Knight.

I had the privilege of working with Christine a few years ago on her blog header for Brunch with my Baby and was so excited to work with her again on this new endeavor. Illustration Reveal - Custom Cards

I worked with a lovely etsy client to create this custom illustration for a gift for her sister. I ended up loving the colors and the layout and had to share with you. The second image are the final printed flat notecards.

Life Lately

For those of you who followed me on Sweet Musings you know how I overbooked my commission schedule over the last six months, and as a result, I let that blog slip a little as far as posting on a regular basis. I hinted at why here. And while I still can't tell you the reason yet I should be able to share in another month or so!!!

All that aside, in an effort to get back to blogging and explore more of my own illustration ideas, I've started sketching in the evenings. While I'm watching tv or just before bed I take a little time, even five minutes, let my mind wander and start sketching.

Above are a few of the designs I've done lately. Some may turn into finished prints soon but for now these lovely ladies are just making me smile and helping me to pursue ideas.

This was a very hard decision to move my blog over from MichellesSweetMusings.Blogspot.com but I knew for the direction my company is going in as well as the fact that the content and path of the blog changed a bit over the years I worked on it this was ultimately the right decision. I hope you will love this blog just as much and enjoy following me and seeing my illustrations in this new location.

Over the next few weeks and months I'll have some great announcements and reveals, lots of inspiration, and hopefully a ton of illustrations that you'll love!
